-----------------------MINUTES ---------------------------
Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for patent disclosure:

- No one declared a patent.
- We wondered what the purpose of this was.
  - Kim believed it stemmed from a Rambus legal case.

AR Review:

AR: Mike remove duplicate space from 5.2.22
- Done

AR: Mike make changes to 5.2.5
- Done

AR: Mike make changes to 5.2.6
- Done

AR: Mike find out if ibischk catches less than 4 hysteresis params
- Done
"WARNING - All Hystereis Thresholds should be specified for Model Spec
   defined on line 10328"

AR: Mike update and release 1.1x document
- Done

New items:

- Roy is uncertain if he will be able to continue ibis-quality participation
  due to work commitments.

- The JEITA EDA working group sent their review of the IQ specification
  - Roy: We should review it only as far as we have reviewed ourselves.
    - We have covered only 10 of the 20 items in the JEITA review
  - We will discuss this at the next meeting

- JEITA presentation about IBIS Quality at the Tokyo IBIS summit
  - We looked this over page by page:
    - It begins by attempting to define IBIS quality
    - David: This is really about accuracy
    - Roy: There are other definitions for quality:
      - "fit for use"
      - feature set
  - David:
    - This paper is taking a narrow view of quality
    - Attempts to standardized IBIS vs. SPICE test fixtures
  - Mike: We could use these fixtures in IQ section 6

- David has met some of hte JEITA people, and will serve as our contact person

Continued review of the IQ specification:

5.2.2 {LEVEL 3} [Model] Vinl and Vinh reasonable
- Wording of the new addition is counter-intuitive

AR: Roy reword 5.2.2 for clarity

Kim expressed concern over the time we spend on repeated review of the
same material.
